The act of storytelling is a central part of who we are. Stories help make sense of our world and our place in it and we define ourselves by a story within time. We create stories; verbally and non-verbally.

Non-verbal communication is our first and primary language and it shapes and influences our understanding of ourselves, our relationship with others, our community and our world around us. The creative non-verbal language of the visual arts, music and movement, is our mother tongue.
